MVH develops, owns and maintains housing for older people, people with disabilities and other special groups, as well as facilities used for social and healthcare services.

MVH selected Builderhead as its new platform for managing project documents and information. Before Builderhead, project information was spread across a separate document management solution and several other tools and locations, which made finding the right information time-consuming.

One platform for project documents and information

Construction Manager Jarmo Ruohola is responsible for projects from construction through handover and the warranty period. Builderhead is used by all project parties to manage documents and project information, while MVH also uses it to store internal project information. In addition, Builderhead is used to share tender documents during procurement.

The rollout began with a short training session covering the main features and practical use of Builderhead.

A clear overview of project status

Builderhead has reduced the time spent searching for information. The project pipeline and project summary pages provide a quick overview of the status of each project.

MVH has also created a task template for critical tasks to help ensure that important activities are completed on time. Builderhead’s mobile app has also proved useful on construction sites for viewing plans and saving photos.
